This is one of my favourite photos that I have included in my image bank, this is because I like the idea of incorporating 'caution' signs to signify danger, which to most would be related also to fear. I like the idea of incorporating it, but not an idea surrounded by it as I think a faded sign in the foreground of a photo would be effective enough to portray fear.
I like the concept of this photo as you can see that someone is almost 'trapped' and cannot escape. I also like the fear emotion on the subjects face, as it is portrayed as realistic fear and the eyes of the model are very dramatic. I also like the idea of adding in props e.g. tape in order to achieve the idea of fear.
I have collected this photo as I feel that a close up of displaying fear may be an idea to follow and experiment with in the studio on Friday's session. If I were to do a close up of expressions of a models face then I think doing this in black and white would make it more of a striking idea. I like the way that these eyes can show the emotion that the model is feeling and that her wide eyes are bold displaying the fear that she is feeling.
I like the uniqueness of this photo, as I have not seen anything similar which is why I like the idea of this. I think that the concept to show the fear of the dark is a clever idea, and by adding feet over the eyes makes it different to any other work. I also like the textures in the photo as the feet you can see large amounts of three-dimensional shapes and depths. I think it would be very difficult to create a similar photo as I am limited, however I think that it is a very unusual and interesting concept.
